We are pleased to share that the AROS hosting team have met with the Design Advisory Group (DAG) to enable them to conclude their work, which has now happened, and all relevant material has been handed over.
The DAG worked from late 2023 to 2024 to lead wide-ranging community engagement across Scotland to produce a series of advisory reports that have been instrumental in informing the next steps for AROS. Their work has laid a strong and thoughtful foundation for the Observatory – one grounded in anti-racist values, independence, and accountability.
We offer our sincere thanks to all members of the DAG for their time, commitment, and leadership. Their contributions will have a lasting impact on how Scotland builds and sustains anti-racist infrastructure.
Although the DAG has now completed its role, the work they produced remains an essential part of the story of AROS. The DAG website will continue to be accessible via web archive for reference. Visitors to the former site will be redirected to the new AROS website: arosonline.org.
All of the DAG’s reports and outputs are available in the AROS archive on the new site, where we will continue to share updates as the Observatory develops.
Once again, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the DAG for their critical role in getting us to this point.
