The Anti-Racism Observatory for Scotland (AROS) is a new organisation. It marks vital step forward to tackle racism in Scotland. Funded by the Scottish Government, AROS is being set up by the University of Strathclyde in partnership with the Coalition for Racial Equality and Rights (CRER).
Communities have been vital in helping shape AROS. Their voices, insights, and lived experiences have played a key role in getting us to this point. This knowledge has laid the foundation for the work ahead. AROS will gather strong evidence to help government and the public sector to tackle racism in Scotland.
Building AROS is a national effort. Communities and partners across the country remain central to this journey. Together, we are working to build a fairer, more anti-racist Scotland.
